Overview
Neurons combine into nerves and nerves combine to form nerve systems.
We have two major divisions of nerves: central and peripheral. The central nervous system includes the brain and spine. The peripheral nervous system is everything else.
Everything we sense and everything we do is the result of our nervous systems. We take in sensory information with afferent nerves. We move and respond to our environment with efferent nerves.
Pay particular attention to how systems work together and all part of a whole.
